'In this video, we make a traditional Japanese food into a healthy bento box that you can meal prep throughout the week. We\'ve been getting a lot of requests for Japanese meal prep ideas here on the channel so here\'s our take on one of the best dishes Japanese cuisine has to offer. Ingredients: Veggies Long bell pepper 1 carrot 2 zucchinis 1 regular bell pepper 1 cup mushrooms 1/2 potato 1/4 squash 1 whole onion 1 cup broccoli 1/2 cup sweet corn Katsu 1 lb chicken breast 8 oz. shrimp 3 eggs 1 cup flour 2 tbsp garlic 1 cup panic 2 tbsp garlic salt Curry 2 cubes instant curry 1/2 packet curry powder Recipe: Katsu Prep Veggies: chop up everything into bite-sized pieces Prep Proteins: Cut chicken breast in half length-wise so each piece isn’t too thick. Make incisions on shrimp so that they can stay straight and skewer them. Season both chicken and shrimp with salt and pepper. Bread the protein into cup flour (seasoned with 2 tbsp garlic salt), 2 eggs, and 1 cup panko bread crumbs Bake for 400F for 20 minutes Curry Place 1 tbsp of oil and saute onions until nice and brown. Then add 1 cup of water and then the zucchini and squash. Boil for 10-15 minutes and then add the rest of the veggies along with 3 instant curry cubes. Simmer on medium for 10 minutes and get ready to serve Plating Add 1 cup of curry into bento box 120g-150g white rice on top of curry 6-8 oz. chicken katsu or 3-4 oz. shrimp katsu (depending on which one you decide to make) Add veggies such as broccoli or whatever you like!
